MEET CHEF JAVIER

Chef Javier's professional career started 33 years ago as a software engineer in Cambridge, MA working at a small firm where he programmed and helped develop software for 8 years.


Then an inner calling drove him to the culinary world where he knew he belonged all along.   I.e. His true passion for cooking.

Javier attended
Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, where he graduated with honors, received the Silver Key Award and was inducted into the Alpha Beta Kappa Society as a result of his diligent work ethics.


Since then he has grown in the culinary world by working in some prestigious kitchens, such as The Top of the Hub and the Harvard Club of Boston, MA.


Honing down his skills only came naturally since his passion for food was the driving force. At The Top of the Hub, Javier was assistant banquet chef, banquet chef as well as sous chef in the main restaurant, creating innovative dishes and winning praise and respect from his colleagues and guests. In addition he participated in the ACF Junior Culinary Competitions back in 2001 where his team took home the silver medal.


As a way of reaching out to people on a personal level by making a difference in their lives and wanting to see them enjoy better, wholesome food at home, he decided to come full circle and venture into the personal chef world.   Something more meaningful to him.


His goal was, and still is, to bring back the quality of time, thru his meal prep services.   Take-out food, dining out, and unexciting unhealthy dinner options at home have become the norm. 

Plus, our stress induced culture has made so many unhealthy that today, so many are looking for better healthy options.   
Including hiring a chef for their daily meals.

So the "Dinner Maker" personal chef service was created and has been in operation for close to 20 years! 


All these years later, and with hundreds of families served home cooked meals right here in New England, he is still going strong with the same commitment and drive! 


Chef Javier is a proud member of the American Personal & Private Chefs Association (APPCA) and the American Culinary Federation (ACF). He is also Serve-Safe Certified which enables him to assure his clients that food safety is never overlooked.


In addition, Chef Javier is a certified fitness instructor, a multi marathon finisher, an OCR racer, a happy family man and a proud American.
